Our Story

Tekton Game Calls was born in a pole barn on Johns Island SC. The first few years was about finding the most authentic and realistic sound, building an attractive call, and making sure it was easy to operate from a beginner to the advanced caller.

Always a hunter, it wasn't until I graduated from college that I truly began to gravitate towards duck hunting. Soon enough I was working on building decoys, training dogs, and making calls.

I am so grateful for the opportunities I get to be able to invite folks to the shop and share some fellowship. The shop is now located on James Island, a few minutes from historic downtown Charleston SC. I try and source local wood when possible. I love balancing building custom calls as well as providing the hunter with a quality production call they can put through the ringer. 

Tekton is the greek word that was used to describe Joseph and Jesus in the bible. It translates as artisan or craftsman.
